More Poems

ALrighty...since no one is reading my poems on allpoetry..I'm just gonna post them here. (I'm also upset because some of the crap onees I read on there got millions of comments...) My good ones:

Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter,
Like unrequited love,
It spreads across the bread,
The thoughts of my only love.
The taste of strawberry jelly,
Is my favorite kind,
But the taste is getting bitter now,
So I'll leave it all behind.
My sandwich sits alone,
With the things I left unsaid,
Mostly of my wishes,
To get inside your head.
I don't any sandwich,
I don't want any lunch,
I don't want to think of you,
While I'm out for brunch.
This sandwich is old,
So I'm throwing it away,
I'll probably get some groceries,
And get more anyway.
Walking home from shopping,
With my new jelly,
I see you and my insides squirm,
Inside my empty belly.
My sandwich isn't ready,
And you're walking over now,
I have nothing prepared,
I need someone to tell me how.
Your smile is like a match,
Striking against the box,
As we talk I can imagine,
Myself a chatterbox.
I prepare my sandwich,
As you walk down the hall,
I have seconds to spread the words,
And think of how to break my fall.
The words blurt out,
Mixed thoughts become unmixed,
You hold my hand and smile,
As my heart becomes transfixed.
My sandwich is made,
The taste is real and sweet,
In this world of peanut butter,
My soul is now complete.

Uggh...I know; it can get better. But whatev. Tell me waht you think about that one.

That took too long so I'll post more later.
