[It's dark, and Winry is disoriented. The Malnosso have dropped her off. The girl doesn't recognize the forest at night, and is a little terrified. She's been avoiding being out at night, and now she's smack dab in the middle of it.

She backs herself up against a tree. Feeling nauseous, she decides she'll try and get back to the house when it's safe

[so man people in the forest these days is irritating. But San knows this one. It's one of those 'helpful' sort. She'll approach as silently as any other hunting wolf might]

[Winry doesn't hear San, but she'll lean to her right, to peer behind the tree she's next to. Is it safe? Is it?]

[well, San is coming up on the left, so there. And she voluntarily lets some twigs and leaves crunch under one foot]

[She jumps, startled. Winry also lets out an, "Ah!" of surprise. Whatever you are pleas don't eat her.]

[For whatever reason, San will let herself become visible in the moonlight. But she's masked and wearing the wolf furs, so it might be hard to tell what she is at first]

[Oh great. It's too small to be Moro, but she almost recognizes the fur. She just came back and now she's going to get eaten. Wonderful. The girl will stay still. She knows if she runs whatever it is, is bound to chase her.]

[the closer San gets, the less wolfish she'll look - though she moves close to the ground, she does walk on only two legs, after all. And when she's close enough, she takes her mask off]

[Winry's quickened heartbeat will relax a little. Did she know this girl?

Nothing? I mean, I just woke up not too long ago.

Why are you in the forest?

The Malnosso drop a lot of people off in the forest when they're done with them. [Sounds almost like: You didn't know?]

[Oh. Them. San makes a disgusted face. Because she doesn't really care when they take the humans out of the village, but she does still hate them for the things they've done to Moro and to her]

I'll gladly leave, if you want. I just need to know the way out.

[snort. She doesn't really care about that either - any human so afraid of the forest, here, isn't much of a threat]
