Yeah. She used to sew all kinds of stuff back home. I can do it... a little. [He usually doesn't sew whatever he's working on to his pants. Much. Often. Not the last few times anyway.]
[Well, he was caught now. Admit he was doing nothing of value (besides homework) or come up with something spectacularly interesting, plausible, and not requiring much in the way of proof. Several ideas passed in his mind, but none of them were really adequate for the task. So after a few fleeting moments, he answers in defeat.]

... yeah. Pretty boring. [Well, okay, the math questions kept him engaged and were a lot like puzzles. But puzzles that came in large sets that quickly got old. Reading up stuff in the science books was worthwhile, at least, because he learned some cool stuff. Everything else was dreadfully monotonous.] I'm already done with it all.
[Actually, this makes him think back to the party at the Rec Center. He ended up being accosted by a boy 'his age' into playing something. It was a game, it was in the Rec Center, and air was involved.]
