[Today Winry can be found in a few places:
Late Morning / Early Afternoon → In the clothing shop one can find her looking for clothes that better suit the cold weather that's going to be coming up. While browsing through racks of clothes she starts to hum this. One can also catch her flipping through a few racks of things she normally wouldn't look

[ Oh, clothing. Usually Lightning doesn't care about that kind of thing too much, but since it's so freaking cold here, she has little choice but to find some other stuff or risk doing the not-so-tough act of shivering all the time.

First time she was here, she just grabbed whatever seemed warmest and practical, but as she wanders in this time she's already decided to spend a little more time looking. And... an odd expression crosses her face when she notices someone else already there, but then she goes ahead anyway, quietly unhooking the holstered gunblade behind her so it won't get in the way. ]

[A little after Lightning walks in Winry stops her humming. Is someone here? The blond peeks past the rack of coats she's currently looking through and sees-

Well she sees the other girl, but what has her attention is the large weapon. Should she be worried...?]

[ No worries Winry, it's more of a... folded-up sword rather than the machine gun or something it's sort of shaped like in its holstered form. Lightning pauses and gives a kind of 'what?' look back when she notices she's being stared at. ]

[...Oh right, she was probably being rude. She ducks back behind her rack of coats and starts quickly flipping through stuff she's seen already. After a few minute of this she lets out a sigh while her shoulders slump. The scratch of hangers on the rack was probably annoying, especially with how she was going through them.

Winry peeks back passed the rack.] I'm not bothering you, am I?

[ UGH CLOTHING. Lightning's mind is firmly elsewhere at the moment, mostly on Serah and how much better at this she is and how apparently she'd been here before and-- ]

Hn?

[ She looks up, blinking, from pulling the sleeve of a shirt inside out for some reason. ]

[...Pulling a shirt sleeve inside out? What? Maybe she should ask a different question.]

Do you need help?

[thestormishere]

[ By the time she interprets that first question, there's another one to contend with instead... Lightning frowns, looking down at the shirt. It's that obvious, is it? Her answer is mostly muttered. ]

Most of these are... they're made weird.

What do you think is weird about them? [She approaches Lightning and takes a look at what the other girl has been messing with.]

[ At that, Lightning sort of gets caught in a loop of reserved awkwardness and annoyance- she spends a long moment looking at Winry, and only then down at the dark red shirt she's half-turned out. ]

Tch... the hems. They won't lay flat on the inside.

[ At least on the things she's even vaguely interested in and... yeah, there's so many different things here in the first place that it's all sort of weird. ]

Why not trying to look at something else? I'm sure they aren't all like that.

Or you could fix the hems yourse- Oh! Or you could go to All Passions!

[ Lightning's had to deal with much, much worse, but it sort of makes her feel a tiny bit better to be petty about something... she's frowning and already starting to put the shirt back when Winry pipes up with that new suggestion. ]

What...? What's the difference?

All Passions is a shop run by a girl who makes all her own clothes, and she does custom work too.

I see...

[ OH MAN THAT SOUNDS GREAT... except of course Lightning is totally stoic about it. She glances aside and pulls out her journal from where she managed to shove it in a pack pocket somehow. Time to check the map she's got inside it. ]

[ A quick glance up and a quiet sigh; the only thing she's still missing so far is some jewelry. ]

Hn... almost everything I was wearing 'before' came with me right away. It just happens to be colder here.

Mm, that. It'll get colder than this, too. Last year we got some heavy snowfall.
