SO I KIND OF FORGOT AGAIN but it's understandable 'cause yesterday was two of my friends' 21st birthdays! They are not big drinkers, so no one got drunk, so actually I guess I don't have a REALLY GOOD excuse, but whatevs. Um. I get a spfizz on Halloween? :D
Day 07 - Your Best Friend, In Great Detail
I'm gonna get kind of mushy and just say this out loud: handsomespeck. She's been with me the past four and a half years. I met her online through ((WE THINK)) some kind of Pendergast forum and we just kind of hit it off. Through the years we've talked so much. It's insane. I'm pretty sure I talk to her more than some of my IRL friends whom I've known my whole life. Any time someone says you can't form a meaningful relationship through the Internet, I kind of roll my eyes, because seriously? She is the one person I know I can talk about ANYTHING with, and she's helped me through so much. There are very few people I cannot imagine never having in my life, and she is one of them. I don't know how life would be today without her. ♥
Day 08 - A Moment, In Great Detail
Well, when I was at CSSSA in summer '07, there was this kind of peak on the mountain that the school is on? There's a streetlight-esque type light and it overlooks a huge portion of the Valencia area. Several nights whilst I was was there, I would go sit on the light, listen to my mp3 player, and just look over the city, dreaming about where I'd be and what I'd be doing in a few years' time. I've always been an isolated person and I really enjoy my privacy and alone time, and this time was exquisite. Now, three and a half years later, I'm here, at one of the best schools in the nation, doing what it is I love most, and making great friends along the way. I've grown artistically and personally and I'm really, really content.

Seriously, though. That Italian midterm that I spent three days studying for? I got a D. I almost started crying in class, but then I just got really pissed. That is apparently my grieving process. /o\
