Holy Crap You Guys…
Apparently all I was doing wrong was not complaining, LOL. j/k
So as I write this I’ve just gone $20 over my goal for the kickstarter project (which can be found here: http://kck.st/hiTV0B, in case I haven’t quite pimped it enough.) Like I mentioned before, I did set the goal at the bare minimum (probably a little bit less) that it would take me to produce this CD. I also have to make allowances for the fact that Amazon will take out 10% of what I collect, and for the fact that there will probably be people who don’t follow through on their pledges (it’s a little like public broadcasting that way.) Plus, like I mentioned before, the more that gets donated the better the whole thing sounds. Let me reiterate that EVERY SINGLE PENNY of what is donated will go into making this CD sound AWESOME, for the sake of those people who have donated.
Still… just a few hours after asking “What’s going on here? What am I doing wrong?” you guys totally pulled through. We’ve still got 45 days until pledges will be collected and I can actually start putting real energy into making this HAPPEN, but it IS guaranteed that it WILL happen!
I am so utterly and completely jazzed, you have no idea.
This is gonna be SOOO COOL. Seriously! You completely, utterly, and TOTALLY rock my socks off, and I cannot WAIT to have something to give back to you for it!!!!!!
