Jounouchi sauntered through the empty coridoors, dragging his bag behind him. He'd been kicked out of his previous lesson for getting into yet another argument with the teacher, and rather then hanging around to hear his punishment, instead stalked off towards the classroom, thinking that for once he would be there before the older boy

"Kid?" Jou repeated, shaking his head, "A year don't make that much of a difference ya know. And no, my old man ain't coming either. No need to break the habit of a life time, right?" he added, shrugging.

Go back to Otogi's place? Why not? Wasn't like he had anything else to do, and he really shouldn't skive his extra lessons after all. He frowned to himself at that. Did he REALLY just think that? He was positive that it wasn't some natural urge to want to learn more, but couldn't think what else it could be.

Okay, so maybe History wasn't one of his worst subjects.. and maybe he was a little curious to what Otogi had planned... and in all admitance Otogi was a good teacher. And actually a pretty cool person when he didn't have his fangirl act about him.

Otogi... pretty cool? Jou shook his head suddenly, glancing up straight at the guy himself. So maybe they hadn't hit it off exactly to start with but... well Honda seemed to like the guy. And Honda obviously had good taste so maybe Otogi was actually okay.

"Sure.. your place sound s'okay" he replied, reaching up to run at the back of his neck, "If it'll be okay with your dad I guess..."

"Oh, my dad isn't home often, don't worry about that," Otogi replied with a shrug.

He shifted his book bag on his back, then nodded down the hallway. "Come on--let's go, then." Otogi turned and began walking, the blond beside him.

"You okay with walking?" Otogi asked as soon as they reached the exit of the school. "It isn't too far, but I can get us a cab if you want. I don't take my car to school because... well, I'm not technically old enough to have one. I don't want to get in trouble, you know."

"It's okay" Jou replied, shrugging, "I'm used to walking. 'Won't be a problem"

As they started walking, Jou noticed with some interest that they were walking in completely the oposite direction to where Jounouchi himself lived. Shrugging it off, he continued walking next to, and slightly behind Otogi, his hands dug deep into his pockets.
