So today, I went to the to 星光同學會 and had a MAJOR blast. My mom got us free $108 tickets from the Chinese radio station 1300. 黃靖倫was AMAZING~~~~~~

You didn't know about it? News came out about the con back in like early July. Where do you live? Maybe they just don't have ads about it from where you are? *shrug*

PLEASE DO COMMENT LATER. I think you're the only one on my f-list that can understand me the most in this situation. >.< Cuz well, most of my f-list doesn't watch the show like me cuz 1) they're not Taiwanese and/or 2) they don't know as much about Taiwanese stuff. But I still had to let everyone know how much FUN I had. XD

I'm from Texas, LOL. Houston to be exact. Generally speaking, we have a pretty big Taiwanese population here.. but not as much as LA or anything like that, so.. *shrugs. Was the news online or something?

BUT YOUR MOM IS SO COOL. & good hell, those tickets were expensive! Which makes it even cooler, LOL.

ANYWAYS, YOU ARE SUCH A LUCKY ONE. ♥ This is for season three right? I wasn't too big on two or three, but it's still exciting nonetheless! How did you manage to get backstage, btw? Your mom probably has connections! Hahah. Btw, did you take pictures?! I hope you were able to bring a camera inside.

Ahahah~ Man that's FARRRRRRR. Like, in the middle of nowhere @_@. Do you guys have China Towns and such?! The CMs were played throughout the Chinese cable channels here in So. Cal. They had auditions here in January, so a part of the competitors were from So. Cal.

As for going backstage, it wasn't as much as going backstage to give the flowers to him. And yes, this is season two and three. And MY MOM IS HECKA COOL HUH~ She just knew some people who worked at the major Mandarin radio station here and since the station got free tickets, my mom asked for them. She was like, "Hey *insert her name*, you don't even know One Million Star. Why don't you just give me your tickets?" LOL

I did take pictures, but just from my seat. I didn't actually get to take a picture with anybody. Booooo. And I was able to bring it inside and record a large part of JingLun's performances. Haha.

YAY FOR TAIWANESE HALF. We understand each other like no other can. Hahah~ <333

LOL. It's not like.. country-ish or anything. XD Yeah, we do! They're actually pretty big - a couple of blocks. It's just.. no one thinks of Texas? D: AH, YOU HAVE TAIWAN CABLE? T_T; Lucky! Mother says it's expensive, haha. So does that mean you actually catch all the One Million Star episodes that way? That's cool! I didn't even know that. /fail. Uh, yeah. I have cable tv. We have about...16 Asian cable channels of which 7.5 is Taiwanese. The rest is a mixture of Asian American, China, Korean and Canto. And yup, that's how I watch all the episodes. It's really a pain in the butt also cuz the episode airs for 2.5 hours and there are really long CM breaks ( ... )

Ohhhh! I see. That's pretty nifty. I wish I had that one too. OMG. FORREALS. I've seen it at my aunt's house once, and the commercials are super long, and there are so many of them. Good grief, haha. I think the people who sponsor the cable thing in the US maybe add some in? -_-;
