No I don't think Bill O' Reilly should be prosecuted- nor do I think Keith Olberman was saying that, but he is calling for a boycott to pull our dollars from that show so perhaps the crazy bastards will chillout with their hate speech. And, I have been calling for this for months. We CONTROL the airways.
The problem I have with these "entertainers" called news is people believe them. Even if it is false, and not true facts, they refuse to do further research and they follow what they are told. All of them tend to do this, and it is annoying. Where is the REAL NEWS?
There is freedom of speech and then there is screaming fire in a building. Some of these people are doing this, and abusing their power of controlling the talk box. It intensifies fear and anger in people who don't know any better. It is playing on ignorant peoples fears. Like the gun rights. Everyone was so convinced Obama would take their guns- because we have shows like that beating the dead horse spewing false lies everyday. People still have their guns, in fact in the credit card reform bill they just passed, they also passed so gun owners can take guns in National Parks now. So if anything gun rights are being extended.
I'm just a bit tired of the pushed out propaganda and lies by people who are angry Bush is gone and McCain lost. The growth of hate groups have been on the rise since NOV 4th and it is pathetic. http://www.splcenter.org/index.jsp
I really don't care if people dislike the government, but calling out to kill people because you disagree is psychotic and this is coming from people claiming to be "Christian" and "patriots". Gimmi a break.
i won't get into the christian thing...yeah, thats too messy and I'm about to go to bed anyway. maybe later if you reaaaaaally want to. haha
and prosecution was never stated but seemed implied to me. i didnt know about guns allowed in state parks. thats good news. and everyone is worried he was going to try to take guns away by making them cost to much. raising taxes on guns and ammunition and all that. has any of that changed? gone up or down? (if you dont know off hand dont wast time on research. I'll find out sooner or later when i need more ammo.)
and yes, i know the hate groups have spawned wildly. htat is to be expected anytime there is any kind of change. and a black president is in itself a huge change. as long as Obama doesnt go nuts they will eventually start dying down again. and i can't say i give a crap about bush and mccain. I wanted one of the Independents that wasnt allowed on the ballets to win. thats where all the best canadates always are...assuming for a second that you can really beleive their campaign speechs and your not looking at the crazier ones like the communist party. :P
