Coffee Blue for Suzy
This Past Tuesday: Coffee Blue I went for Suzy and to met/approve of her boyfriend Sam. I had an excellent time when I was there got to see a lot acquaintances from Wall and such... I actually performed a poem I signed up to be the fourth person to go but instead got made the first since nobody signed up before me damn that was frightening. Some things that were really awesome was how there was one guy who played a 12 string acoustic, ahhh *drool* he did an amazing job, then another amazing performance was done by jessie poland. I knew her brother in high school so I knew of her. She's a senior at wall high, and she blew me out of the water when she played. She played three new songs of hers that night, all of which were amazing lyric wise and god does she have singing and guitar playing skills, she reminded me of Ani DiFranco when she played. After she performed I went up to her and said "Hi, Jessie, I know you don't know me but I was friends with your brother in high school...I have to ask do you like Ani DiFranco?" Reply "Yes" Me again "Well I have to say you remind me of her and I think she's amazing, also whatever you do never give up music..." He did an amazing job and his music was sweet to the ear as it can get and really heartfelt. Overall that was extremely fun, afterward I followed Suzy and Sam to Jenny's house(Suzy's sisters) and we all hung out that was a great way to end the night...
