More weapons to add to my arsenal
Ok. Maybe I am just really nieve but I never knew that I was a one woman arsenal. And I am going to take over the world with my crocheting hook and my rainstick so...Look Out!
Yes, I said rainstick. The head light on my car is blown out and a cop decided to pull me over last night because of it when I was coming home from a friend's house last night. We were going over a drum rythym I was playing at church today. I had planned it to be accompanied by a rainstick. So I have the drum and the rainstick on the passenger's seat (I was pulled over on a busy street so he approached my car from the passenger side) and the cop pointed to the rainstick and asked me what it is. I said "It's just a rainstick...here you go like this..." and I reached over to grab it to show him what it was. At the same time he puts his hand on his gun and says "DON'T!" It took me a minute to realize that he thought I was going to try to beat him to death with it. I smiled and I said "Oh sorry; well... you can pick it up and if you turn it; it makes the sound of rain." So he takes the thing out of my car and turns it a few times and low and behold - it makes the sound of rain. "Nice." was all he said and he shook his head and put the weapon rainstick back in my car and says, "I'll be right back."
The nice officer let me go with a warning to get the stupid light fixed and told me to drive safely. I am really begining to think that only I could manage to be mistaken for a serial killer two weeks in a row! I am starting to get a complex.
