American Psycho
Has anyone else read this book? Holy hell. I've read some crazy stuff, but this is the only book i've ever read that repulsed me to the point where i at one point had to take a break to visit the porcelain goddess. fight club didn't faze me, though the movie was a tad too bloody for my taste, but Ellis's novel is definitely cringe-worthy. but i won't say it's a bad novel- it was fantastic. i was fascinated by Pat Bateman and his obsessions. anyhoo... it was a really worthwhile novel. i think i might buy the reader's guide if i can find it used.
