Don't give up...
However I am functioning on low sleep. I really need to get that sorted out... Okay I thought about doing a year in review post, but too much has happened and 99% isn't in this journal. So a basic quick summary and then a little something I realized.
January: Doug and I were starting slowly again. After two fumbles we wanted to get it right. Join the McDonald's crew.
Febuary: Beautiful Valentine's Day. Doug says it would be our fourth aniversary. I comment that we could still consider it that and he agrees.
March: Birthday, boring month. Birthday / Late aniversary gift from Doug in a Nintendo DS.
April: Doug's birthday. Got him gift. Nothing else important.
May: Not much.
June: Somewhat slow, but I get to keep my neice for a week.
July: Things go smoothly.
August: Not a whole lot. Start preparing plans for Halloween.
September: Amy starts slowly moveing in at the end of the month.
October: Amy is officially moved in by now.
November: Amy leaves to live with her Brother's Ex-Wife. Had a good Thanksgiving.
December: Doug graduates, Christmas comes and goes. It's one of the better ones in a long time.
As I said, not a whole lot in a overall sense, but a lot of little things to add up.
However I realized something over the course of this year. I'm notorious for trying to make things harder on myself. I question, I doubt, I lack confidence sometimes. But something others made me realize is that, all those things are pointless on a grand scale. It's fine to doubt sometimes, but don't let it rule you. It's all right to question, but don't question everything or you cheapen it. Everyone lacks confidence sometimes, but it's never true that you have no worth.
