Disclaimer: None of them is mine. Johnny owns them. They own themselves. I’m drooling over them though. XP

Author’s note: do you see another hinted pairing… XP. I’ve been infected by their rabu-rabu moments lately (they are everywhere). By the way, I’ll put in random JE and other characters throughout the story, because I need names, and I’m too lazy to make up one…

To my beta, potatoos, again, please…. I’m hopeless, I know… XP  Done.... you're awesome.. Q(^^)m

Nino was on his last mission before moving to Tokyo. He found his prey walking down the empty alley on the next road. The guy was standing under the shadow, making several calls within the last fifteen minutes. After he had made the last call, the man kept hidden as if he was waiting for something or someone. He lighted up a cigarette and remained where he was a little longer before getting up to walk away.

Nino’s gaze followed the man until he disappeared into the next turn. He gathered his things before making his move. The man he was after was the Alliance’s messenger, one of them at least. But this one was different; he was a traitor, a double agent, and unfortunately, he was also carrying information that should not be disclosed.

Nino had already put a bug on this man during their earlier encounter. He had traced the man until the signal stop moving. After 20 minutes, he turned up in front of an old deserted apartment. Perfect place, he smiled sadly to himself. He never thought he would ever feel guilty doing his job. But that was what he’d felt when he saw his next target’s name. Kamenashi Kazuya.

Nino put his gun back into his pocket. He looked at his wounded prey with pity and disgust, mixed emotions shown on his face. Really, he didn’t even know how he felt this time, looking at someone’s face that he knew clearly didn’t make him feel better.

The man he was assigned to was surprisingly familiar. Not that he had a close relationship with him, but rather because they crossed paths before in the past. They worked in the same agency afterall.

“It’s too late, Ninomiya-kun,” the man before him finally spoke, no hint of intimidation in his eyes, “The Alliance has already taken over the fifth clan. The descendant has already given us his loyalty.”

Nino’s eyes suddenly filled with anger. It took all of his strength to restrain himself from finishing the man off right there. Thank God he still had a bit of sanity left that reminded him he needed to extract some information first.

“Does he know that you were the one who killed the old man? I bet he didn’t. Tackey wasn’t the kind of who would easily sell his family for something like power,” Nino mocked, but deep inside, he knew he was just comforting himself.

“So, you know about Tackey,” The other man just smirked widened, “Maybe not. But we have our ways.”

Nino grabbed Kamenashi’s collar with more force than necessary thinking that his enemy was not in his best state to defend himself, “Do you really think that I will let you…,”

“And what…! You’re going to do what…!” Kamenashi laughed bitterly. He could sense his death was nearing. “Do you think after what you did to Tsubasa he will listen to you? You can’t do anything Nino-kun. Even if you kill me right now, that won’t change anything. I’m useless to you. And to them.”

“What?! How do you even know about Tsubasa? How much do you know?! No. How do you even know all those stuffs? You’re not a master. You can’t possibly know this kind of information. Unless…,” Nino was horrified by his sudden realisation.

“How do you think we know about you? About Tokyo? And we know so much more that you probably don’t.” Kamenashi’s voice became weaker. He had already lost too much blood at this point. “Do you know agent zero?” he mocked.

Nino tried to keep his composure. In truth, this was his first time hearing that name, but he knew he had to show nothing on his face. He would find out about this little information later.

“I bet you don’t,” Kamenashi took a deep breath. The pain became unbearable, but he knew that Nino would not kill him soon, for he badly wanted that information. So he opted to make Nino feel dire, and also frightened at how he had already lost his war.

Nino knew his intention of stalling time before he completely passed out, without any indication that he would give more. At least one thing was certain, they had a mole inside. No, he was sure there’s more. So, after he was sure that nothing additional would spill out from Kamenashi, he decided to leave him to die, slowly and painfully.

“If you had played nice and cooperated just now, I might let you die a fast and painless death. But you chose the hard way. This is for you for betraying our people,” Nino said in finality. He turned his back on the dying man without second thoughts.

We got the black files were Kamenashi’s last words.

Nino stopped for a second before continuing to walk away. He could hear Kamenashi’s wicked laughter fading into ominous silence.

They are in great danger…

“Seriously, Satoshi…, you look like an idiot with that big stupid grin on your face. Can you stop that already? It’s almost been a week…,” Sakurai Sho, his best friend since high school complained for the nth time. They were walking through the alleyway heading for the cafeteria in the common building, along with their friend, Aiba Masaki.

Ohno just kept grinning and flashing his dazzling smile to Sho, “They will come tomorrow, Sho-chan…, hehehe, I can’t wait for him to stay with me….” He stared into space dreamily, making the other two snort at him.

Soon…, he thought to himself deeply. His concerned expression was passed unnoticed by his two best friends who skipped alongside him happily as if nothing bad could happen in this world.
