The Truth.

This is going to be up for a while so people who weren't there can see the truth. If you know what drama I'm speaking of, you can skip this.

Hi. I’m Crystallinegirl - the former co-mod of mil_wives. It used to be Trauma_Junkie, Babity, and I co-modding the community. Babity for the last six months or so, and I’ve been the co-mod for the last year and a half. So this is coming from someone who put heart and soul into the community, and still cares.

It is out of respect for the members of the community that never had a chance to know the truth that I am doing this. I value your friendship and I am doing this because I think you all deserve to know the truth.

Laughter311 screenshotted someone’s personal, locked LiveJournal entry. And attempted to post it as an anonymous Secret, postsecret-style. She messed up, and used her name.

Babity wanted to ban her for the screenshotting; a violation of both community rules and LiveJournal’s TOS. Trauma_Junkie wouldn’t let her. When Babity told her she’d be leaving if T_J wouldn’t ban Laughter311, T_J told her to leave. She did.

Massive drama ensued when Babity informed people, on her personal journal, what had happened. Never was the secret or the screenshot posted in the community by a moderator. (The secret was posted in the community in a comment by a member, and quickly screened.) T_J was at work, so it fell to me to deal with it. After a FULL DAY of people begging me to ban Laughter311 in violation of T_J’s wishes, because they no longer felt comfortable posting in a community where someone could do that and get away with it, I banned her.

This resulted in T_J taking away my mod privileges. After a discussion where I attempted to make T_J see reason, I left the community. T_J refuses to “be forced to be a hypocrite” by punishing Laughter311 for something other people had gotten away with, because they posted anonymously. Nevermind that the screenshot was against the rules, and the Secret, which specifically named someone and was mean, was ALSO against the rules. And nevermind that she ignored both of her co-mods (her “treasured equals”). She kept telling us we were her equals? Then we outvoted her, did we not? Also, on a side note, Laughter311 deleted her new member survey over a month before the drama happened. Which is CLEARLY against the rules of the community. If I had noticed it when it happened, I would have spoken up then.

Also, members who spoke up against the co-mods leaving, and against Laughter311 staying, were banned. In the comments of a post stating “No one will be banned for expressing their opinions on this matter.”

Since I have left, Laughter311 was invited back into the community. As was her fiance.

Another community was formed - a community that had been in the works before this happened - to cater to not only military WIVES, but also military service members and families.

T_J calls this community a grudge community because two of the mods are the co-mods she refused to listen to. It has a different purpose. Had been in the works before the drama.

And now she’s trying to copy it by making mil_wives more open to men and single people.

I don’t know how much of this there is evidence of (besides in my e-mail inbox) because much of it was deleted by Trauma_Junkie. If you want evidence, PM me, I will gladly provide it. I tracked EVERYTHING I could.

I just wanted you to know.
