Oh, website page changes
Came here to check the friends page, to find a white page greeting me. Um, not my colors. I guess LJ has been upgrading and whatnot thus removing some of the old. Including my page colors. >_< I've upgraded the layout to whatever version it is now and got at least close to my color scheme back, but the width of it is killing me. I think it's set for a percentage rather than a set pixel width, and it would really be better for me to be narrower. If anyone knows how to change it, I'm all ears!
Etsy is doing some of the same at the moment, they decided it was a good idea to redesign the shop page layout while widening it. Many of the changes are bad, as many *many* users are saying in the thread meant for "feedback." Thing is, the folks at Etsy don't really care about users' opinions when they want something different than what the users want. But the really crappy part is that they haven't finished the layout and have already started applying it to some of the users. So many people have taken the time to suggest what could make the pages better, but no one is actually listening except other users.
I made a couple of bum rolls for myself and for Steph the other day. Today I dyed my new parasol. It's really quite beautiful now. It's a burgundy and black lace parasol.
Marianne came over and hung out for a while, watching Eric play MGS3. I wanted to get more done today than just the parasol, but I didn't have the energy to. I was hoping to hem the bottom of the purple wool cloak I have hanging in the doorway. It's so close to being done, I just can't get it done so far. I'm really wanting to have some silk, reversible Mini Cloaks for the next SWFF since Steph showed me a site to buy silk for pretty cheap. Not sure if that can happen yet.
