I got my Serenity Official Visual Companion today. It's so...shiny! Literally. "Oh , my pretty little pet, I love you. So I stroke it, and I pet it, and I massage it, hehe, I love it." Oh, sorry, didn't mean to channel Tommy Boy there.

Anyway, this thing is gorgeous. Again, ripe with spoilers, so you might not want to pick your copy up until you've seen the film. But if you're a fan, you at least need to give this book a looksee in a bookstore (if you can find one in stock), 'cause it is beautiful.

*whispers*OMG, awesome picture of Rayne in it to, squee!*whispers*

And did you see the SCI-FI Inside: Serenity last night? Adam hosted it, and it was SO cute. Adam calling it the Big Damn Movie with such flourish almost totally did made me tear up. Plus Nathan's adorable "Joss is Boss." was classic. If you haven't got to see this special, I'm pretty sure it reruns tonight.

I know all you non-Firefly folks on my flist are getting hit left and right this week. I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm totally not. LOL. Lost people squee about Lost, Prison Break people squee about Prison Break and the damn BROWNCOATS are gonna squee about Serenity. It's our week. If we've learned anything, it's that you can't shut us people up, hee! ;)

So, that night I was watching Nick @ Nite, as per usual, and it was like 3am and they threw in a rerun of that kiddie show, "Hi-Jinks" for some reason. I've never seen it before, but if you watch this channel at all, you damn well see the promos, so I knew what it was.

Anyway, the point of it is that in one of the skits they showed, I'm damn near convinced that the child actor that played Connor on "Rescue Me" is the child in question. I backed up the DVR, recorded it, and then flipped over to a RM recording and then went back to it and I'm STILL convinced it's him. Looks like him, same haircut, hell, it even sounds like him. It's not on his IMDB, but hell, it wouldn't be credited, I'm sure anyway.

During the skit he's on crutches, which is the only thing that sends up a red flag. BUT, one of the skits is at Madame Tussauds, which is in New York. He's obviously a NY-based actor if he's on RM.

So, my question is: Did any other RM fans with kids or whatever catch this show and think it was him too? Or, does anyone know if the show is using child actors? 'Cause if they are. LAME. Er, at least lamer than the show itself seemed to be, 'cause that was pretty damn lame too.

Not important, but it bugging me.

And new Lost tonight. *squirms* Serenity + new Lost + VM premiere = Crystal is fangirling overtime.

serenity, rm
