PICSPAM: Steve Carlson @ City Tavern 10/05/07

Oct 10, 2007 02:45

These pictures of musician Steve Carlson were taken by either my best friend or me with my Canon Digital Rebel on 10/05/07 in Dallas, TX at The City Tavern.

If you already know me, you're aware that photography is one of my major hobbies, so being able to photograph a musician that I totally dig was made of awesome.

Aww, thanks.

The show was fantastic, wasn't it? We were at the large table in front by the stairs. Sorry we missed meeting other fannish folk! :)

Awww! And it was fab. Were you the table that gave him the beer? If so, what did you all ask him to play that made him be all, "I don't play that." My friend and I have been curious since, because we didn't hear what it was. LOL.

And I'm guessing we were sitting directly across from you in a booth. If you're in the group I'm thinking you are anyway, I took the picture when Drunk!Guy insisted on taking a pic with two people in your party.

LOL, Drunk!Guy loved the camera.

mangled "Drift Away"

LOL, oh my. That's one of my favorite songs in the history of ever. So I am very glad I didn't have to hear them mangle it, lmfao.

You won't happen to be at the Austin show tonight would you?

I won't, sadly. I didn't know about it until we were already there (Steve told my friend about it, actually) and we hadn't made arrangements to be gone that long. But if you're going, have fun!

We heard Steve mention that he and Chris might be back in Dallas in the next couple months together, so I'm already thinking about making it back down there if it does happen.

Drunken Rock Star Karaoke Hour would be indeed be hilarious. We were in Dallas when Jason was there - but we never made it to the show because we got lost in Death Valley. Not cool. LOL.

Have tons of fun tonight - I'm so jealous!

And yes, it would definitely be worth the trip to Dallas to hear both Chris and Steve play!

Totally. My friend says she's not making the trip with me that time (because as she told Steve to his face, and thank god I wasn't standing there to die of embarrassment, she's "not a fan of the whole Christian Kane thing") but I do have another friend that digs The Kane. So I hope to pull it off with my equipment if the time comes. Heh.
