Smallville 1x17 - "Void" & Supernatural 1x18 - "Something Wicked"

- "It's not like anyone died." I know she does't know Jonathan died in her place, but still, I must say GAH on his behalf. God, I wanted to swing her around by her hair tonight. Not that that's an uncommon feeling for me, but tonight it was really overwhelming. Probably because the plot focused on her sorry ass.

- Also? I liked the plotline enough. When it was called FLATLINERS. Hell, the one episode of Tru Calling I saw had this plotline, and I even liked it better then when I saw Mark Matkevich doing it there.

- Clark running to Central America? Ha. For some reason them showing the globe cracked me up more than it probably should have.

- I did like Lex and his BlackGloveODeath warning from his mother.

- Also? I loved Clark's sharp "WHAT?!" when Chloe told him Lex had died. Clark and Lex sitting in a tree...

- Okay, seeing John Schneider was very, very nice. Very nice. It kinda explains why he's still in the credits. He can swing by for these random visits and make it be a surprise, since he won't be a "Very Special Guest Star". Neat trick, SV! (I still don't forgive you for the B-Movie plotline thievery though. That's just lame.)

If I have anything to say about it, I'll edit this post with my SPN thoughts.

PS: Why is Hal Sparks trying to get me to watch a WB reality show? Bzwuh?

- OMG! Dean was little Johnny Cash! How f'n cute is that!? And fitting, I must say. (I might have to add this kid to the very, very short list of child actors I actually like.) It was great seeing them as kiddos. Another interesting look at the HotDean and PapaDaddyDean dynamic. I feel so bad for Dean. As I, and everyone else I'm sure, expected all along, he never got to be a kid. He did, and gave, everything for Sam. Even if that means something as small as the last of the Lucky Charms. Everything has been a sacrifice, and yet? He doesn't play that back pocket card very often. Which makes me adore him all the more. Man, I love this character. So much. So very, very much.

- The Brothers Dean in their suits was adorable. I always love when they have a chance to get Suited Up!

- Heeee! I love when Dean was scared by the old lady. Too funny.

- HA! Even the little boy at the motel sees the Wincest. "Two queens." Hee!

- I love how Dean is so good with little kids. Especially ones he relates too. Man, I've said it before, but there's really not a single character that makes my kid hatin' ovaries explode like Dean Winchester. It freaks me out! I don't like kids. I don't want kids. Seeing him with kids? Melts my fucking heart into a puddle of goo. It's eerie-ass and creepifying.

- Papa blowing into the motel room guns a blazing was totally fucking badass. But him being mean to Dean? Makes me hate him thismuch. Sam, Sam, Sam. I get that he's the baby. But Dean owns my heart, and I can't take him being kicked for a mistake he made when he was a child. Don't make your little boy be an adult when he's not, jackass! It's not *his* fault Sam almost died. It's *yours* for leaving a little boy in charge. No matter how much you think he could handle, he was still a child, and that childhood was robbed of him. Which isn't a suprise. I expected it. But what I didn't expect was how much it would kill me to see it become live-action canon.

I still like PapaDaddyDean, but tonight we're not on speaking terms.

- I like that Sam apologized. As much as Dean blew it off, it meant a lot to him. So that makes me happy.

- "You okay, little brother?" *cries* He's such a good big brother. And wishing innocence for his Sammy? Man, just when I think my love for him has capped out at the very top, it grows a little more.
