cut me open, cut me open!
I am so excited! I have scheduled my surgical consult for the 22nd and I can't wait to tell the surgeon to cut me open. For those of you who don't know, let me explain my odd sort of idea here. I have chronic reflux. It's awful, perpetual heart burn. After my miscarriage in June, Cheyenne and I decided that instead of getting pregnant right away, I would try to get this fixed. So, what I'm looking for is the surgeon to do this fancy laproscopic surgery where they fix me up so I don't have to take a pill everyday. This may sound scary to some of you, but I'm psyched! I figure, I'm 25 years old and I'm in pain and I don't want to have to take a pill everyday, so come next Monday I'm gonna let that Doc know that he can cut me open. Of course, Bethesda is a teaching hospital so it's like grey's anatomy...a whole bunch of interns jumping up and down to help. So, whoo hoo!
