I could have warned you :D anonymous August 22 2009, 05:34:51 UTC
-Manila pier does have one of the nastiest waters.
-those sleeping babies are baits for innocent tourists(like you). they're placed there by some mafia lord to get tourists to give them money. they were probably 5 year olds but because they're small, you think they're babies.
-jeepneys came about after WWII. Americans sold and gave a bunch of surplus jeeps to the Pinoys .they stripped these vehicles and made it longer to accommodate more people for PUVs.
-I could have warned you about those massage parlors! now, you learned your lesson! next time just get a haircut at a barber shop. Pinoy barbers are awesome! Mike loved his Pinoy barbers. they give you a free shoulder, head and neck massage and they give the best haircuts. and most importantly you're rest assured that you wont get molested...
-even locals do carry TP in their purses, I did! and oh don't forget to carry some hand sanitizer too.

*I'm sorry that your experience could only be rated 6 sleeping babies. I hope you'll have a better experience next time. Maybe if you'll dock in Cebu:D. then your Philippine adventure will be rated 10 dozen lumpias or 100 bags of dried mangoes
