I  survived Thanksgiving, house and home intact. No one burned themselves or their homes down with fried turkey and our turkey turned out great. For 7 adults and 4 small children we had 2 turkeys and 1 ham. We went overboard didn't we? Naika kept talking about taking our leftovers to homeless people.

I also survived black friday. I had a plan to go early in the morning, but Ainsley and some sick stomach changed that plan. So, we went when Cheyenne woke up around 10. Amazingly enough we got everything we wanted. We got a snazzy DVD player for the car so that Ainsley can watch Nemo all the way to Texas. That's the husband's project for the day, getting it installed. We also got my dad, Erick, Cheyenne, and I all taken care of in terms of Christmas presents. Plus, Cheyenne got the tree up and the Nativity set up.

We never take Ainsley anywhere fun because we went to toy r us and she walked in with wide eyes spewing "oh my gosh." I let Cheyenne grab the the stuff we were buying and Ainsley and I wondered the aisles playing with all the toys. Made her day. I don't think she knew that there were that many Backyardigans toys manufactured. Fun fact for everybody: toy makers have resurrected pound puppies and popples.

Pushing Daisies: Pee Wee Herman living in the sewers was great! But, I can't say this was a favorite episode of mine. I liked it, but not as much as some of the others. I do love how this show breaks into song. Why not? You got a couple of broadway singers, why not put them to good use.

Project Runway: I really wanted that red dress with the belt to win. I know, it wasn't exactly new and adventurous, but I wanted it to win so I could buy it and wear it.

Grey's Anatomy: Now that Gizzie is on the rock's, I can really enjoy Grey's. I also want to mention that I hoped at the beginning of the season that Lexie wouldnt' get with any of our doctors. Maybe she will get with Seth Green. Remind me to use "vapid narcissist" in my everyday language. The paramedics in the upturned ambulance made my heart hurt.
