food coma

i really want a sewing machine. yesterday our dorm made pillows as an arts activity--who knew sewing things could make me feel so relaxed yet accomplished? i definitely need to practice a little bit more, but using the sewing machine was a ton of fun. so yes. i want one. i don't know what i'd do with it though.. oh whatever, i'll figure it out.

i haven't been doing much after that midterm yesterday other than having fun. at 2:30am yesterday (or today.. whatev), willy came into our room because he had to compare answers with maggie for their problem set, and then he saw that i was browsing the ben and jerry website (*ahem*). "want to go to safeway and pick some up, soo?" hellllllllls yes! so that is how i ended up with a pint of HALF BAKED b&j in my fridge.

today, after sleeping in until 11:30, something i haven't done in FOREVER, I had lunch, then went to chem (sleeping a lot at least helped with something--i stayed awake! for the entire class!!). the bike ride back from mudd was enjoyable because 1) weather was gorgeous and 2) i saw tibetan monks riding in golf carts with their burgundy robes flapping and legs dangling from the back. i wish i could've seen the dalai lama.. oh well! but yes. after all that came the true highlight of the day--shopping with the girlies!!

hees janice and i went to stanford shopping center because i needed a dress and we kind of had nothing else to do. i ended up acquiring a dress for sys from bebe (who knew it was pronounced bee bee?) and other essentials. the evening came to a close in max's opera cafe, where the food was HEAVENLY. holy 7-layer-cookie!!!!!!!

yay for third-grade diary entries! blame the food coma.
