big news
k...folks...I may be looking at having a new sister...a step-sister...I never thought that would be a possibility but my dad came over today and asked for i guess my best wishes with him inquiring as to what my oppinion would be on him marrying his gf of 3 years...I was happy that he asked me as he's been making a point to ask all of his children...I dunno I suppose I have a fear that he'll feel more less like a "dad" cause then he could call Jane's daughter as his daughter ...he's already spoken of Jen and Jane as being family at dinner at my mother's house. I also don't know how my mother is going to take the news...my father asked me to refraim from telling her as he is planning to...(come to think of it i'll have 2 or 3 step sisters)and my dad has been bringing up his future possible passing as a concern that we won't include his i guess what you could call second family in "family events"...I dunno its all too weird to me...I dunno ....anybody out there with a step family...how'd you react, whats it like...I know probably stupid questions but its a lil nerve racking i'm finding :S
