The Disappearance Of Writers
Really....
They expect us as the readers to comment their fic, then join their comm or add them as friends for more chapters or higher rated fic. Even then we have to intro our self to them like giving our name/nickname, age, location, etc etc. And we follow what they want. Word by word and sometimes we given our oath not to share their fic....
Then after that?
They just disappear without any notice, abandoning their fic, or even the fandom....
Really? Do they really have no respect to their readers at all? Come onnnn...!!! Readers giving their time to read and comments. The least you can do is giving some info whether you discontinue your fic or not.
I wrote this rant not to the writers who left a leaving/hiatus notice. I respect them for that. I wrote this for the writers who did the "poof - goodbye" in silence...
Words of advice, be thankful to your readers and appreciate them. It's because of them that your fic is famous.
