SO MUCH POLLEN OMG. I'm wading through plant skeet every day to get to classes. I always forget how bad pollen gets here until it actually happens and everything is coated in a fine layer of yellow-green dust.

and the soundtrack is so catchy, and the "the hammer is my penis" joke is somehow even funnier
oh god so today. and yesterday. I went out and ~socialized.~ This consisted of hanging around Cassie's dorm and reading a book for homework in between dramatic readings of Cosmo. That magazine is such trainwreck gold, I don't think I can properly express the wtf that is Cosmo articles. There were just too many funny things. The smut section from a novel was printed in there, of a strong-minded college teacher who had earned her PhD in whorableness by the age of 22, because she just ~worked that hard~ and was now the ~youngest teacher on the staff omg~ but was super busy and had no time to date. Until she met tall, dark and handsome on an airplane, and after three hours of flirting, the entire flight conveniently fell asleep so she and this guy could smut it up in the bathroom.
Now, you know how in magazines, there are teeeeeny tidbits from the stories in, like, huge font that stand out? Well, this one was along the lines of, "AS SOON AS HER GAZE TOOK IN HIS HARD, THROBBING LENGTH, SHE GASPED." I just stared at it and thought, I've read fanfic better than this. It really wasn't very impressive smut, but then again, Cosmo.
It kind of makes me want to put some kind of steampunk version in some 'verse somewhere. A woman's periodical with innocent enough covers, photographs of lovely women in oversized hats, but it actually has excerpts from trashy vampire novels, and serializes something like Lady Chatterly's Lover.
On a less exciting note, fandom dreams have stopped. There was one, two nights ago, in which Light Yagami shot Nanako and then proceeded to rationalize it in tl;dr like an asshole. IDK.
