ohgooooood two days in a row makes almost twelve hours in that theater
oh god my school is the nerdiest school of them all
Okay, so it's really pretty, right? We have all these gorgeous old buildings that honestly look a lot like a castle.
So guess what the student body decides to do?
HAVE A HOGWARTS DAY.
No seriously. There was butterbeer and a Quidditch tournament and a huge game of wizard chess out on the quad. And the dining hall was set up like the Great Hall, with four long tables all through it, and the teachers (all dressed up as Hogwarts professors) sitting on a raised platform at the far end.
Alas, I was only able to see some of this, because TWELFTH NIGHT OPENS THURSDAY ASKJDLKJSA and I spent six and a half hours in the theater, painting and painting and painting and sewing. The good news is, the set and costumes are coming together, and I got a lot of work done. The tailcoat sleeves needed lace, okay :<
God, everyone in this show is gonna look like a gay pirate. It's set in Regency England, which means lots of cravats and top hats and pretty dresses. <3333 I do not mind helping to costume at ALL. Even if it means I have to sew elastic into four pairs of trouser legs. For hours.

SO THERE'S TOTALLY AU STUFF I WANT TO TYPE UP ON HERE BUT DON'T HAVE THE TIME BECAUSE DAMMIT I WORKED FOR SIX HOURS TODAY AND I AM GOING OUT. :< ....after I wash the paint off my arms. Oops.
