Spring Forward
It's spring and the weather is warm and sunny so I have changed my LJ theme to something brighter and less wintery than my previous snowmen. I particularly like the dog in this one. It doesn't look exactly like Tormund, but it's close enough that I can pretend!
The Oscars are coming up this weekend and I have made my predictions. There are some fairly safe bets but also a few where I feel like the award might not go to the obvious choice and I've gone with my gut instead. I may end up regretting that if I lose the bet, but we'll see! I'm not planning on staying up to watch them live, but I am hoping to avoid finding out too much about the results so I can watch them as soon as I get in from work on Monday.
It's also Mother's Day on Sunday and I've bought Mum jigsaws and shower gels. Maybe not the traditional choices but I hope she likes them. We already have so much chocolate in the house I didn't think it wise to bring in more! And I might still get her flowers, but most likely next week when they're on offer.
