two days until prom
yes, that's right two days until prom.
If ya think about it, it's one of those 3 big party things a girl looks forward to her entire life. 1 being Sweet 16. 2) being prom 3) her wedding.
Now the reason why I say this is all the time in commercials, movies, TV shows etc. Prom is made a whole big deal out of. I've come to the conclusion that this media obsession with prom is what causes us all to be stressed out.
Hey now- it's one big sweet 16 with a lot of food and like everyone from your class and then after you all go down the shore and get wasted and burn yourself and do stupid things and have an awesome time.
And in my opinion I can not think of a better reason to party.
I'm actually getting excited, it just doesn't feel like it's quite here yet ya know? It's like the end of our childhood. No more elementary school guys, we're moving on. Now we have to be adults and productive "pieces" of society. Thrilling. I think they give us prom as kind of a reward. 'Congrats for making it through 12 years of school, now we're gonna send you off into the real world, give you more schooling that costs ridiculous amounts of money and expect you to make something of yourself. Good luck!' Then they give you a swift kick in the pants off that cliff and you're on your own. Sink or swim baby.
I can't wait to see the Maryland boys. They're supposed to be coming up next weekend. That would make me real happy. :-D And if they do come up, maybe I can work something out so that I could go down and see them, with the parentals permission and such.
Should I bring my skim board to seaside? I think i might, that could be a good time. Hungover me skimboarding. :-P lol, what a mess. With my luck you're not allowed to skimboard on seaside's beaches. like i wasn't allowed to in wildwood. bleh.

I'm tired and I owe Hurley a report for tomorrow. He will be very very lucky if he gets it tomorrow. Maybe i can work my schedule so by 7th i an get him the paper. just maybe...
OH! and i wanted to let you all know what happened friday at the FATA and Atreyu concert, but I'm too tired now. I'll update tomorrow probably cause i'm not doing anything but getting a corsage and possibly a boutaineir for jimmy. And then the rest of the day, I'm chizzillin.
