The Corin Tucker Band
So last night my mom's friend took me to see The Corin Tucker Band. I never heard of them before but they were pretty awesome.
It was at this little live house thing where all the adults are drinking and standing watching the other bands play and stuff. I was standing there sipping my tea.
But before Corin and her band went up, I got to meet her personally! My mom's friend is a relative so we got in for free too. Corin was really nice and she gave me her band's album for free and even signed it! She was just really down to earth and just gorgeous.
On stage, she was amazing. Her voice is just beautiful. She hit a note so high, I didn't think such note existed. She plays guitar really REALLY good. Like really good. I liked how the whole band was just so relaxed with the crowd. They would just start talking about random stuff.
What made me laugh the whole time was how much their guitarist was sweating. It was gross yet humorous. He was just wiping his head with a towel after every song and while he's playing a song I could see sweat dripping off his nose.
After the show, they let me and my mom's friend back stage to talk to Corin. We told her that she was amazing and that we couldn't wait to see her again. Corin told me, thanks for coming and nice to meet you. It was great. She was great.
I was seriously thinking of not going but I'm so glad I did.
It was a great show and I hope I see her and the rest of her band again!
