Wanted: Girl/Boyfriend

- Must not be too old or too young - my age, or one to five years older. A year younger? Hmm. I guess that would be okay.
- Must not be too touchy. I hate public displays of affection, and I am not comfortable with affection in general. Subtlety is the key.
- Must be kind and warm-hearted.
- Must be a good conversationalist and a listener.
- Must be loyal to me.
- Must be thoughtful. (Must know how to make me feel special.)
- Must be intelligent. I'm not expecting super-genius material, but I do expect that he has a degree of cleverness.
- Must be practical and resourceful (and must teach me how to be all those. XD)
- Must be understanding. I'm so flawed that I don't think anyone will accept me.
- Must have some degree of tolerance for my eccentricities. XD Yes, he must tolerate me.
- Must share at least one thing in common with me!
- Must not get bored with me. I'm boring. :(
- Must know how to have fun - and by that, I do not mean clubbing, going to bars, things like that. Even the simple pleasures such as going to the mall with me would be fine.
- Must have time for me. I wouldn't want to end up in a frigid relationship.
- Must be caring.
- Must be clean and hygienic.
- Must love books and literature. Loving anime and manga is a plus. XD
- Must be rich. Or, at least, financially stable.
- Must not be a chauvinist pig.
- Must not belittle me because I'm female. But at the same time, I hope he knows when to be gentlemanly. :)
- Must not force me to do what I dislike, or be someone that I'm not.
- Must know how to cook. Then I can learn from him!
- Must take me on trips abroad once in a while. (Okay, this is where I reveal that I do want to be pampered, sometimes.)
- Must tolerate my Internet addiction. XD
- Must be open-minded.
- Must be polite. Good breeding = yay!
- Must be interesting.
- Must have interesting hobbies and skills that he can teach me. (Of course, of the wholesome type. XD)
- Must not smoke or drink.
- Must know how to drive.
- Must be humble.
- Must be witty. I like guys who can come up with witty statements. :)
- Must be helpful, diligent and responsible.
- Must have a sense of humor.
- Must be able to accept me for who I am.
- Must be able to give me some alone time, and must understand that I enjoy being alone sometimes.
- Must not be overly superficial. I'm not pretty, but I hope he can look beyond that.
- Must take me to Le Souffle, because I want to eat there. XD Haha, just kidding.
- Must put on a business suit at least once in his life. XD Again, kidding. But that would be a plus, I guess.
- Must give me freedom. I don't like control freaks.
- Must cosplay with me at least once! :) Haha.
- Must have an inner child, because unleashing the inner child is fun. :)
- Must not be overly sappy.
- Looks? I don't really care about that, as long as, well, he looks decent.
- Must get along with my family and friends. And meet their approval.
- If he can play a musical instrument, that would be a plus. :)
- Preferably the boy-next-door type. They do not only make good partners, but also good friends.
Hmm. That's all I can think of for now. I shall revise this when I feel like adding any more qualifications, or removing some of them. Am I not weird? XD Haha. Since anguoleme posted lots of qualifications, I figured that I'd be honest with myself and go into the specific stuff. Haha. But yes, I do like boys next door. Or generally, "good" boys. I don't like bad boys, haha. If there were real-life versions of Tamaki or Ichimoku Ren or Alphonse (he's not my favorite FMA character, but he would make a good boyfriend), that would be nice.
But you know what people call guys like that? Non-existent. A figment of the imagination. Imaginary.
Maybe that's why I find it hard to feel something for a guy. Heck, I haven't had a crush for a long time now. Or maybe I'm just unromantic.
