I'm alive!!!
I know it seems like I have fallin off the face of the planet since I haven't update in weeks, but I am alive. I've just been so busy with RA job, planning programs, and school work that I haven't had much free time. so much has gone on that I don't know where to start...
ok on the RA job. The nights I have been on duty haven't been too bad. Although a couple weeks ago we had a problem with one of my Resident's boyfriends. He was drunk and being very disruptive. I thought he would get violent at one point. So we had to kick him out and we threaten to call the cops if he came back. Yeah it was fun. And another one of my residents was burning sage in her room. It kinda smells like pot. SO I was freakin thinking someone was getting high in there room. But no just sage for a religious thing. Oh also there was 2 sexual assaults on a campus over the weekend by the same guy. This guy had some how gotten into cooper and raped these girls. Apparentlly the girls were passed out drunk and they had not locked their doors, so the guy just broke in and raped them. So I'm all freaked. I'm going to make a poster reminding our girls why we don't prop doors or sleep with our door unlocked.
As for my programs I've done 8 programs over a month. Most were planned by other RA's that I got credit for because I took my resident to it. My first official program starts tonight. It a self defense program provided by the FLC police. hopefully it will go well. It is a 2 day program. The first day is a 2hr lecture on how to be safe. The second day is an all day thing and that is the hands in stuff. I really excited!!
Class has been ok. I got an A in my first math test!!! so 'm starting off good. I have my first chem test on friday which I'm hoping for an A or B. Then On monday I have a bio test. so this will be a crazy weekend of programs and studying. I'm think of doing a shadowing program with the hospital here. I talked to my teacher and she is trying to set it up. hopefully I'm not taking on too much.
This last weekend I played paintball for the first time. It was so much fun. At first I was scared because it hurts when the paintball hits you, but after the first game I was totally in to it. My favorite game was Black Hawk Down. Half the people are American(that what I was) and the others are Somalians. They hide two pilots on the course and the Americans have to find them and bring them back to the American's side. If the Somalians find the pilots then they have to stay there and try to prevent the American's from getting the pilots. I was with these group of boys and I actually eliminated some Somalians. We had crept up behind them in the dried up river bed. They were staying low because the were being shot at from the other side, Once my team figured out they weren't Americans be blasted them. lol And the refs were right there too. It was so much fun.
Well, I went out last night for the first time. I haven't had many days off so I went with a bunch of RA's to Soilds. That is a bar/ pathetic dance club. It was fun I grind with 5 or 6 guys. Cute ones too. Although I got a little crazy. Maybe because I've been working so much, but I sucked face with this one guy I was dancing with. His name was Lee. I don't know why I did it. I woke up the next day and slapped myself. I'm now called the kissing ho by my fellow RA's. Which I'm not this is the first guy I've kissed in 1 1/2 years, but I was a little hoish that night.
