weirdness
ok the weirdest thing happened. I was studying for my math test, which is tomorrow(blah), when I heard the doorbell. I kinda apprehensive about opening the door(given that I'm home alone)but I went anyway. And guess who was there? Allan. I was surprised but it was like I almost knew it would be him. Maybe I'm psychic. oh well, but after a awkward hello allan said he wanted to getting some things off his chest. I haven't talk to him in about a year. ok here's a recap of our relationship. He asked me out when I worked at McDonald's. I was still 'dating' Ryan (which I never really wanted to, Ryan somehow got me into a relationship). So I told Allan that I would love to. Well, things got messed up because Ryan was on vacation and I didn't want to go out with Allan when I was still with Ryan. So we broke up before it even started. Then after about two months I asked him to the junior homecoming. And thus starting our relationship. Well, as you all know it pretty much a roller coaster ride relationship. Lindsay will stand by that statement.So I broke up with him on New Years eve after a nasty fight. Only to date him again in the spring, but then I broke it off after two weeks. Then we didn't talk for most of senior year. Then the summer after graduation we went out again for about a week. ::slaps herself:: I ended it and like most of our breakups it was long and emotional. Then I think either he or his friends busted out he back window of my car. I have no proof, but they have the best motive. SO then we completely stop talking to one another. Now that leads us to today.
SO I open the door and there is allan. He says he wants to get somethings off his chest. He tells me that he is getting married to a girl named Amy and has invited me to the wedding. Needless to say I was shocked. Then he yammered on about nothing for 20 minutes like he always does, he always beats around the bush before he gets to the point. He justed wanted to say that he was sorry and that he has changed a lot in the past year. He wanted to thank me because even though our relationship was rocky he learned that there was more to life than school and the military. I was touched by that statement. Because I learned a lot for him too. Even know I complained about our relationship, Allan isn't a bad guy. it just when we get together he turns kinda psycho and I turn into the ultimate bitch. I apologized to him about all I did. I played with his emotions and used his weakness to justify my actions which was wrong. I mean I kept asking him out the breaking up with him. That's just plain evil. He wanted to know what he did wrong in our relationship, because I always said it was my fault (which it was) for me breaking up with him. I told him that It was still my issues that broke off the relationship and that I used his flaws as an excuse. I hope this is the last of the Allan drama. I think we've really got to a level we can live with and that is just being friends. I can elaborate more when we talk next, but that is the condensed version.
