Midlands MCM Expo 2010

So yes, Midlands Expo. I wore my Takuto cosplay in the morning and Meroko for the rest of the day. I had lots of fun and many lols with various people! I ALSO GOT TO SEE sandersxstokes , crazedteensie , madamelapin AND THE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE ABOVE PHOTO FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AGES! WINNNNNNN~~~
Sooo, lets start from the beginning. Got up at 2.30am due to a really random dream that woke me up... Didn't actually get up till 4am though. This meant I only really got 4hrs sleep rather than the 5hrs sleep I had intended to get ;___; (I would have gone to bed earlier but I was doing last minute cosplay stuff because I suck like that.)
We had to catch the train at 5.28am, INSANE!
When we got to Wolverhampton station we met up with Katy who was our Madoka in the Full Moon group! We hung out together all day which was fun! :D
When we got to Telford I got changed into Takuto, got there fairly early so decided to take pictures in our costumes. We didn't take many serious pictures because I was too tired to think of any good poses (I should have brought my manga...). So instead, I got to be a spazzface 8D

Madoka can't see Takuto in the manga because he's a shinigami. Therefore I can be a big spackface and Katy has to try her hardest to look normal LOL.
I was rather fond of this bush... I kept poking it. special_pleb thought she'd take a picture of me.
Oh okay, here's a serious picture for a change. Wheee I love this cosplay so much! 8D
Sadly, I can't stay serious for long....
After a while we decided to stop this spackery because I got hungry and wanted to eat... It was funny, some people wanted pictures of me when I was still eating, so Charlie held my food for me XD
Hung around for a while till it was 11 (saw turboj at this point as well!) and then went and got tickets. I tried to do some shopping with my wings on, that didn't work out so great. So I just got changed into Meroko, at which point it was time for the Full Moon shoot! So we gathered everyone around (we were scattered all over the place!). Ran to and from the Cosplay Desk numerous times to collect my Takuto cosplay (I went to put it away, then had to get it back again for our Takkun in the shoot because she hadn't finished her costume xD SEE! IT WAS A GOOD TIHNG I DECIDED TO BRING TAKUTO ALONG!!).
Eventually, we got the whole crew!

Takkun and I liked bullying Izun (domica ), we love yoooou broody character of the year!
Izun got payback... Why didn't he turn to Takkun!? @____@

So... We decided to move to a bench!
The people on the bench next to us thought we were pretty damn weird... Not that I can blame them 8D;
Yeaaaah... They kinda walked away xD;;; We did this jump like 3 times X_X;
This is the best one we had XD. I dunno, some of the other photographers might have better ones I dunno xD

And that is why... We should bring our mangas with us to photoshoots... Though if I were to do that pose probably I probably would have killed myself ROFL. So it's close enough XD (AT LEAST WE'RE ON THE RIGHT SIDE!)

I managed to hit EVERYONE in the group with my giant wings. Lol, erm... Sorry about that xD;;; By the end of it people were like "WOAH THERE DON'T TURN ROUND! *runs out the way* NOW TURN!" XD
I also mastered the crab walk, i.e. walking sideways to get to places.
After a while I decide to drop my wings off at the cosplay desk to look around and go watch the second half of the EuroCosplay panel and then the masquerade!
I still can't believe the number of people I spoke to! Even got to meet aerblade briefly for the first time! That was nice, hopefully I'll be seeing you at a con in the future so we can chat properly~
Of course I did miss a few people, but that's bound to happen at an Expo! I had a blast though, I would love to go again next year. After having been to Fuyucon in October I was surprised at how busy it was at Midlands (but no where near as busy as the London ones!). I wasn't use to it, especially seeing as the last Midlands one I had went to was in Sept 08 and it was so much more chilled back then! But hey ho, that's the thrill of Expo and people don't care if you act like a twit all day long!
