Day 26 - A song that you can play on an instrument
Click to viewI can play lots of things but this gets in cause it was the very first song I ever learned by ear on my clarinet when I was about 11 years old. It's still one of my all time favorite things to play on the chance I do bust out my clarinet every now an then.
Day 27 - A song that you wish you could play
I would fricken LOVE to be able to play this. The melody itself is so simple it wouldn't be hard to learn in theory... it'd be the execution that would suck so hard, haha it's that I have no grace when it comes to real piano's. I'm extremely heavy handed T^T other than that if I got off my lazy ass and learned it on a keyboard I'd play it all the damn time. lol!
Day 28 - A song that makes you feel guilty
LOL, I feel guilty when this pops on the Ipod at work cause of course... naughty naughty things pop into my head when I'm supposed to be working >D Usually whatever ship happens to be my muse at the moment.
Day 29 - A song from your childhood
I've heard this song since I was probably still in the crib but I specifically remember being about 2-3 years old dancing to it in the living room. I still love it to this day XD
Day 30 - Your favorite song at this time last year
So this is only 1 of the 3 songs I actually like from this band... but I did madly love this song last year. This song kept me from quitting my job so many times. So pissed off and frustrated some days the chorus of the song kinda gave me a big ol bitchslap and said "Look at how much money you're making? hold the fuck on." lol, lame... but true.
Other than that. This week has been a bit up/down for me. Had Monday off for MD which was pretty nice, spent it hanging out with Jen (shock!), worked Tuesday then called in Wednesday cause we found out our water heater blew up and we had no hot water so I spent the day waiting for the guy to come fix it and just didn't feel like fucking with work that night -.-'
Been wanting to replay Xenosaga but I can't bring myself to actually go through the motion of pulled the games out, lol. (have I ever mentioned just how LAZY I am?) course along that same vein I've been wanting to write a fic that's been floating around in my brain for about 2 months now, so yeah... things don't get done quickly 'round here >>'
As far as my fandom life. Jen's got me playing around on Gaia online again. I'm probably about 12 years too old to be playing on that site but oh well. We've been having fun with their little online game at least =D
DW still amuses me greatly despite the WTF factors XD downloaded the new game they put out and piddled around with it for a bit (haven't had a proper chance to sit down and play yet though.) Already I have found out that instead of running away from the daleks like smart and player controlled Doctor does *waves* virtual Amy would rather run right up and hug the bastards and of course, if she dies, I die >:E stupid girl.
My last thought and only related in that it's about Who,
Am I the only person in fandom that isn't mad, disturbed or generally up in arms about the whole "Amy trying to snog the Doctor" thing in the end of "Flesh & Stone"?? It seems like every time I hear about it it's all cries of "MAN RAPE!" and "How DARE she!" wtf? My 8th grade science teacher once solved a class argument over a movie we were watching with words that have stuck with me ever since and it is the stand I take on this now: IT'S NOT REAL!!
So sit down, shut up, eat a cookie and enjoy the show!
Coincidentally, I have cookies. Almond cookies the awesome chinese place gave to us for free when we ordered the other day. They are delicious :D
