HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!!!! I LOVE YOU
Mom and Dad just left :( Nice to have them out for a weekend, especially so i can get some things done around here, that the stupid bus is too much of a hassel to take. Had a tournament this weekend, on Bell Island, it went alright, kind of lame though, but fun all the same.
Lately i have been just getting really depressed over the fact that i can't come home for the summer. I hate it in town when everyone is home. I would rather work home :( being gone for so long now, just makes me appreciate home so much better. I think i just need a break from town, time to relax, everything is so busy and fast paced here, i just don't know how much i can handle. I guess this is the breaks for playing ball. I guess i can't have everything, this is a sacrifice i am going to have to make. But it will be my last for sure. I woun't be staying in town next summer thats for sure.
So, to make my time here more useful, i am thinking about volunteering at the Janeway or hospital. I really like helping people like that, and i really would like to do something for them. I have been looking at their website and they do need help at certain times of the year, such as the telethan and Jean's Day collection etc, so it is worth a try. I will probably call them tomorrow to check things out.
I have also started painting, kind of exciting to say the least. I like it actually, i always wanted to do something like that, and it is my new found passion!, i have started one now, it is a picture of an eagle so lets see how this one turns out first.
