MUCH better weekend!
I think Brian and I are back on the right track. This weekend was a great "re-connecting" time. Friday, they had their gig at the G-Spot. I was having the worst cramps, was whiney, and pissy, so I just wanted to stay home. So I took a bath, ate cereal for dinner, and crawled into bed and watched TV, and was asleep by 11pm. Brian got hoem at 3am like usual.
Saturday morning, Brian had to get up at 8am to go to work. I woke up with him, but then went RIGHT back to sleep when he left and slept on and off until 2pm! It was AWESOME!!!! I haven't slept like that in months! I think I really needed it! I woke up and vegged around for a bit and then went grocery shopping. Brian got home at like 7pm and we went to the business meeting that Coop had set up. We're getting everything set for our New Year's Eve Party. I think we're going to be having it at the Crystal Rose in Highlands Ranch. I LOVE planning parties! I got to call around to all of these different locations, and now I'm settign the place, and will be setting up teh catering and alcohol, and all that fun stuff! I can't wait until I get to do event planning full-time, as like my REAL job! Maybe then I'll actually give a crap about my job, because it's something I actually WANT to do! After the meeting, Brian, me, Jeff, and Jav went over to Funuguyz and had some drinks and played pool. Brian actually paid for all of my drinks. Then Brian and I went to Walmart (mind you, it's 2am) so he could get poker for the Wii (such a dork). So we got home and played Wii until 5am, and then get it on, and passed out. The sex was AWESOME again. Woo hoo!
Yesterday morning we slept in until around noon. We got up and went and picked up my little bro, Wes, to take him out to breakfast for his birthday. I can't believe my baby brother is 18! (my other baby brother is about to be 20!). So we went to eat at Sams #3, which was SUPER yummy. Then we went over to Colorado Ski & Golf and I got my new ski boots!!! We were just going to look, but I found some I LOVED, anf the guy fitted them perfectly to me, so I HAD to get them. My mom said I could only spend $300, but the boots were $349 and then I had to get the insoles and socks, so it came out to like $397 and then I bought some new goggles too. My mom said that was cool though, she'll give me $400 and that's my Christmas present. Now I just need new skiis! I can't wait to go skiing now! Brian wants to get some new snowboarding boots and a new coat, so that's what I'll probably get him for Christmas. He really wants a Nintendo 360, but if I get him that he''ll REALLY be playing video games 24/7, so I'll probably get him some snowboarding gear, and then maybe some Wii games. Cause his B-day and Christmas are only 2 days apart (his b-day is December 27th). After that, we went back to my mom's house and Brian fixed her surrousn sound on her TV, and then we went to Juice Stop and then went home and played Wii and got it on again (awesome AGAIN). It was an AWESOME weekend!
So I'm going to get my hair cut here in like 15 minutes. I have been trying SO hard to grow my hair out, but I just don't think I'm meant to have long hair. Curly hair is just TOO much tedious work when it's super curly like mine is. I know Brian likes long hair, but it's gotten on my last damn nerve. Plus, if it's shorter it'll be MUCH easier to straighten, which is how he REALLY loves my hair, so I'll straighten it like that more often.

Tonight I'm trying to make something new for dinner. Chicken Picatta. I got the recipe from the Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network. We'll see how it goes!
