Guess what I can do?!
Hello! As you can probably see, I changed my LJ layout again, because well I really didn't like not having a sidebar. I don't actually really love the one I chose, but for now it's fine. When I'm up for it I'll go fish for a layout I like with a sidebar.
But anyway I'm actually not posting to talk about that. I mentioned awhile ago I think that I have to learn how to use photoshop for a big project, and well being the sims nerd I am, there was one thing I just had to learn how to do with it, and I kind of figured it out!
I CAN RECOLOR HAIR!!! Okay well sort of. I'm not very good at it, and can only do hairs that only require straight textures, but still I'm thrilled with that. Hair is like my BIGGEST CC weakness to the max, and I always want more of it in maxis match, so I'm super excited that I can make it kind of. I still have to learn a lot of stuff like how to bin them properly, and attach gray hair, but that's doable I think. I'm using Simgaroop's colors, because they are my favorite. They aren't perfect, because I don't really have any idea what I'm doing, but I'm still happy with them at the moment. I'll upload them eventually, if you guys want them, cause I would love to share them, but I can't do that until I figure out how to do the stuff I mentioned earlier. Anyway pictures of what I've been able to do so far....

Also as you can see I finally found default skins that I really like, as I have been trying to find ones I like forever. I'm using the Leh ones from her mediafire folder, and I love them a lot. They are super maxis matchy and do not change the looks of sims too much.
Natasha is super excited that she doesn't have to use that super shiny color anymore like the one in my default picture.
Also this is super spoily or whatever, but I don't care. Melina grows up FREAKING gorgeous, and I wanted to share that now. Marrying in faces that aren't always "typical sim pretty" can lead to super gorgeous sims. It's true.
Anyway I'm really excited about this and plan to figure out how to do all that other stuff soon, though I probably won't have time till next weekend. :)
