I'm not sure. I think it's a full blown obsession. It won't last long but I'm doing a good job of getting a lot of their concerts to watch on my laptop. I'll have to write them in individual DVD-Rs when this thing runs out of memory.
I'm obsessing on AAA just like I did with UVERworld and Flumpool. Hmn...isn't it weird that Kouhaku last year had to have four JE bands and my favorites, AAA and Flumpool, in the white team? Only thing I watched was AAA's. I haven't had the liberty to check on Flumpool's Kouhaku performance yet. It's the first time the white team had girls singing for them. I'm currently happy with how far AAA is going at this time. Hopefully they become somewhat regulars on Kouhaku or something.
As for the AAA concerts, the 4th Anniversary Live struck a chord in me and it became my favorite AAA concert among the lots they'd already done. It has to do with Shinjirou and Deai no Chikara. But there's something else there, I think. It's just one of those one of a kind things you find among many things like it. Their setlist there is pretty good. So that's probably why the 4th Anniversary Live is my favorite.
In the end, I didn't get any sleep.
Hmn...I'm really more of a Jrocker where Jmusic is concerned. But I love their pop equally so. My ultimate favorite will always be Chemistry but I'm falling behind them as AAA takes their place these days. I'm picky with my music. I avoid JE bands' music for some reason, though. I think there's just far better talents than those in Johnny's Entertainment though I admit some Arashi songs are highly addictive. My ears just crave for something that's a bit out of the mainstream, or at least out of the lot that many go with. I'm one of those who don't like to follow fads in any area or subject---music and fashion for example. You could probably say I'm not your normal Jpop fangirl. Or I think there's just too many JE bands'/boys' fans around I don't need to add myself to them. XD
I like Avex, the agency AAA belongs in along with top acts like Hamasaki Ayumi. Avex can probably be compared to Sony BMG where scope in music or artist diversity is concerned. They're basically like Japan's Sony BMG. Or maybe the forever evolving Interscope label from the US.
>.< Apparently, I have two batches of articles to work on now after procrastinating so much. Not cool. Never follow the example. I'm the worst when it comes to work and stuff and even school.
