Because apparently I hang out more here than the other blog and I'm not sure if I should continue to the other one? I'll have to think of a good way to combine my fashion-related entries and the fangirly ones. I think this should be enough for readers to know I'm as much an edgy, rock'n'roll-ey fashionphile as I am a fangirl of any work of art be it something to do with media (film, TV, etc...) or literature.
I'm still feeling whoozy with the lack of adequate sleep last night. I'd been working late and I'm just about to finish the whole thing today hence I'm debating whether I should come in at 1 in the afternoon for the 'training' or I should not at all. But I've decided I have to drum up a wishlist for Christmas. I don't do a lot of them, really.
Topshop Bunny Black Thigh High Suede BootsThey're amazing for thigh highs what with them being made of suede. I'm imagining them now with mini-dresses that are either edgy or something else. It's the perfect boots to showcase only bits of skin in the thigh area. I think I'll be stared at with this but I'm more than willing to try anything now than the usual ankle boots I sport. I think they're perfect for cold nights and semi-cold days in a tropical country but even more perfect for any cold weather anywhere but in the tropics' zone? It's a good way to start a wishlist with shoes, however. I think I'm addicted to them more than anything.
Shakuhachi Black Lace Sun DressI'm quite a fan of Shakuhachi since seeing their army green floor-length dresses and the mini ones. They carry some of the most avant garde pieces I've seen so far and needless to say I love their line. Now if I could only pool enough resources to get my hands on some of their pieces. Hmn...I will, most probably, in time as I continue to work writing freelance.
Olivia Harris by Joy GrysonI'm into bits of leopard prints and this is one small crossbody bag one cannot miss. I think the mix of leather and fur is divine. :)
ASHALOO Black Diamond Ear CuffI'm slowly easing out of the earrings bandwagon only to move to the ear cuffs. I see myself gradually letting go of wearing a lot of earrings that have need of the ears being pierced. Now this is one piece that allows you to still be edgy yet without having to pierce your ears multiple times. No fuss intended by this one. There's no pain wearing it either, I suppose.
Lumix LX5 in BlackI don't think a wishlist is complete without any gadget of some sort and I'm not quite the fan of a lot of camera phones probably because I've only had one. Contrary to popular belief, I only whip out my mobile phone when I don't carry any good point-and-shoot or some other. I wanted a camera to sleep with XD so this, although it's merely the point-and-shoot type, will definitely do. I think the quality of pictures most Lumix cameras produce is as good as those of a lot of dSLRs. Now it's only up to the owner of the camera on how she would be taking wonderful pictures with it.
I am whoozy and I haven't eaten breakfast yet. I did, however, eat a slice of blueberry cheesecake given to the whole family by another physician friend late last night. My dad and I did, actually. I'm thinking of eating another slice now and taking my usual green tea.
I have yet to show up at 'training' but I'm not sure if I'll make it. I'm apparently working on some articles I normally fail to pass early. I'm also working on applications to Silliman University while awaiting a reply to my e-mail to the office of the registrar. I have reason to think they are quite busy this time of the year but it would be sad if I get the reply to my inquiring e-mail January next year. There's not much time to prepare for anything, I think, and with the 'training' and all.
I seem to be missing a lot of fangirly posts or reviews these days. I'll get back to them soon. There should be one up for Kokoro no Ito and some others. Where Jpop is concerned, I'm just about to go back to where I left off with the stage play, On Line with Ruito Aoyagi. I have enough rudimentary Japanese vocabulary from being exposed too long to anime, jdrama and jmusic so I'm trying to figure out this one with moderate difficulty. It seems a fun play however. I think the cast is pretty good. But let's save the critiquing for later.
On another note, I'd been reading the translations on Dori's blog. His long posts were fun and it was fun reading how it annoyed the translator but he seems awesome so that can be overlooked. *insert* Aren't I the sadist? XD He definitely is the weirdest (or coolest?) among those in Amuse. Technically they're adorably dorky so don't question my love for these guys XD But yep, he's definitely fun. I have to say, Sakurada Dori and 'normal' doesn't mix. He's an interesting guy. And I don't think ramen is only for guys seeing as I enjoyed two bowls of the same kind of it on different times yet on the same Japanese restaurant at the newly improved Suvarnabhumi airport. I think I'm due for another bowl sometime soon. :D Now who wants a lunch/dinner date at anywhere that serves ramen?
