Franz Ferdinand is teh sex;

Srsly.

I've been a fan of Franz Ferdinand for a couple years. I never thought I'd get a chance to ever see them live. It wasn't until last night I got see them here in Tucson. I'd have to say out of all the concerts I've been to, this was the best show I have EVER seen. It blew me away. The visual effects were trippy it fit them so well. The lights were crazy I'm surprised no one had epilepsy. Lol. And Alex... Ah Alex. He is the sexiest gay-guy-makes-me-want-to-be-a-guy-so-I-can-be-gay-for-him. Haha!

Anyways, yesterday I had work, but I got off @ 630. Almost enough time for me to get downtown when the doors opened @ 7 to get my tickets. I had my tickets on Will Call. I actually ended up getting ready @ work while we were closing. XD So I didn't have to go home, change and then go downtown. Better to save gas and get ready @ work. Lol.

I get downtown by 650. No sign of Jessie and Kelly. I parked and wait in line to get my tickets. By the time I reached the line everyone was getting inside! I got my tickets and waited outside for Jessie and Kelly.

Across the street there was another concert going on @ Club Congress. I saw a bunch of scene kids so I had no idea who was playing. Looked like fun, but I was here for Franz, damn it.
After all, I nearly pissed my pants when I found out Franz was coming to Tucson a few months ago.

After waiting a good 15 minutes, I see Jessie with Kelly in the passenger.

"Crystal smells funny!" Jessie exclaimed. I flip the bird at her. A lady saw the whole thing and asked if I knew her. I said yes. She laughed and scolded Jessie when I wasn't doing anything but waiting for her. Haha!

As soon as Jessie parked, we went in. Since I left work in a bit of a rush, I totally forgot to get cash in case I wanted to buy anything. I figure I wouldn't until I saw the shirts and tote bag I wanted! I was a little sad about that, but Kelly bought Franz buttons for me. So I was some what content. On top of that, I also forgot my camera! I wasn't able to take pics other than my phone. D:

The Rialto Theater was originally an actually theater with seats, so the flooring sort of slopes. Since Kelly is exactly 5' I figured standing at the slope will help her as well as myself to see above damn tall people--which did help throughout the concert to an extent. 8 comes rolling around and the opening act starts--Born Ruffians. They were okay, I mean I did like their music but I couldn't understand the singer's lyrics. I could only make out like a few words. Lol. They were entertaining to watch though. They had this one band member that did everything. He played keys, bass, tambourine and cow bells. Totally adorable. They finished their act about 845 then there was intermission till Franz went on. My friends and I just stayed in our spots and just waited impatiently.. well I did. I kept fidgeting.

About 9ish Franz gets on the stage:

BAM! First song they played was Michael. XD

They performed 20+ songs. Didn't talk much to the audience though. They did play most of their songs from their first album--which I didn't mind cause their first will always be my favorite. Though Tonight: Franz Ferdinand is my most favorite at the moment. XD

(Kelly took this with her phone.)

I'm surprised pics from my phone come out pretty well. Only it would help if I kept my hand still. XD

What I love about concerts--well not really--is when you stay in one spot, some how the whole audience shifts towards the right. EVERY CONCERT I'VE BEEN TO! Like when Franz first came on, there was a lady to my left in front of this couple--a really tall guy and his short gf. First during the really jumpy songs, the dude kept shift towards me. Then he elbowed my shoulder cause he was bringing his arm back at his side. Omg it hurt. He apologized and even rubbed my sore, but I shifted away and told him it was okay--when I just really wanted him to stop touching me. Later, the lady in front on my left shifted towards the right getting in front of me. Her hair got in my way! She had poofing curly hair so that annoyed me. I wanted to cut off her hair she was blocking my view of Alex. Lol. THEN there was this bald security guy going around checking everyone and since he was a foot away... he stood right in front of me. UGH! I was pissed. First poofy hair lady, now bald security guy. He finally moved away after a couple minutes so thank goodness to that. Poofy hair lady managed to move back to my left side so I had full view of the stage and I was completely content. I had my large dose of Alex. He was oozing sex. Srsly. I bet eggs dropped last night. XD

ALEX ♥

Over all I had fun. I would love, love, LOVE to see them again. This time with cash AND a camera. My next mission: The Killers in September in Phoenix!
