Secret Santa photos!
We got our allthingsdog Secret Santa package from harro_der on Friday but it's been such a crazy busy time and our living room has been such a damned mess that we haven't had a chance to open it and get pictures of Dahlia enjoying it! We finally did tonight.
These pictures were taken on three different cameras (My Sony Alpha and Panasonic Lumix and David's Nikon) so you'll see a bit of a quality difference. Here's sort of an amusing picture of David and Dahlia looking horrified.
"Mom what are you doing to me???!!"
First thing out of the bag was an awesome plush squeaky tug toy! We have one of these but it's in really bad shape after a year of use so Dahlia was thrilled to get another one. It's a great tug toy for her!
But we'll come back to that one later for more pictures! Then there were these awesome tiny liver treats. They look like oyster crackers, but are liver-flavored. Dahlia LOVED them. Couldn't get enough of them. These are going to be awesome weave pole training treats because they won't pick up all the sand like the hot dogs do. lol
Duhhhh yummmm.....
And then there was a stuffed squeaky frog! She thought this was great fun! She HAD to find the squeaker.
"Oh Mom...what are THOSE?" They're sweet potato treats.

Dahlia makes funny faces when she's chewing.
And then...the piece de resistance. A NEW HAT!!! "Mom? What are you doing"?
"Mom I look ridiculous..."
"Ok fine...if I pose I'll get some of those yummy liver treats?"
Dahlia likes all the new toys and treats!
So much so that she went back to play with them again. Here's a video of how Dahlia plays with squeaky toys. Try to ignore my voice at the end. LOL I was trying to get her to play with it some more but that required me to set down the camera and go play with her. She'll play for a short bit on her own but prefers to have someone join her in the fun!
