Some photos from yesterday
We went out to Thornden Park yesterday and, of course, had to bring our cameras!
(You can see the big chunk out of her tail in this one -- that's all missing due to the hotspot. Which, btw, is SO MUCH better. She's no longer in pain, you can touch the area and she doesn't wince, and the hair is starting to grow back! We never went to the vet as it seemed to be getting better with the anti-septic spray and some Gold Bond powder. Now it's healed up and she's been staying away from it.)
And then, as we were walking home, we saw someone had written "D is for Dog" and drawn a cute dog next to it on the sidewalk. In yet another "omg I love my dog" moment, Dahlia stopped and sat down next to it. No asking her to sit or lure her to sit near it. Just...this:
Of course, I did lure her to lay in front of it and position her feet for another cute photo.
(D is also for Dahlia...and, apparently, DOG DROOL as she dripped all over it!)
On the way back we walked in front of the Methodist Church. These people are super awesome. All summer they have a water bowl and a jug of water out for passing dogs. Dahlia is always very happy to stop there for a drink!
