A Very Merry Christmas!

Hope you all have a happy holidays!
I didn't get to post it here (only on my FFnet profile page), but my laptop's hard drive broke down last month and all my files were corrupted and gone, both fanfictions and my school documents since 1st year college. Oh and the games. Yeah, that's a lot of them GONE FOREVER. It just had to happen at a time where I was planning a massive update on my fanfics and then publish a KHR one-shot. Sigh... If I have the time, I would be recovering and rewriting them all over again but... Guess they'll be staying in my mind for a little while.
What has me a little nervous about the next year is that... I'LL BE STARTING MY THESIS. Le gasp. Yeah. Well actually, there is no specific title yet, we only got assigned our thesis advisers and we'll be starting officially the next semester. The general branch of Chemistry that I chose was 'Biochemistry', then it could either be up to the adviser to give you your topic, or he/she'll make you research your topic yourself. I've already talked to my would-be adviser, and it's very likely she'll just be giving me my topic to work on.
I figure this is going to take up a LOT of my time, so I'm kind of worried about how my writing/fanfic life will fare. Because surely I'll be focusing on the thesis work if I want to graduate, and most likely my free time will be spent there, or I'll be too tired that I would be resting on my free time instead of typing fanfics. I guess I should just accept the inevitable that year 2012 is probably going to be a slow year for me in terms of my writing, but hopefully once I'm done with my thesis I'll have much more time.
Patience does have its rewards, right?
