waiting rooms, george stromb, bright lights, doctors

so last night around 9, i went to the bank. as i was walking home, i got super dizzy. i literally had to hold onto a fence and the trees on my way back home. when i got there, i called for luke because i couldn't stand on my own anymore. he immediately took me to the emergency room... where we waited for almost 4 hours. whenever i moved, i felt queasy. i thought i was going to throw up i was so dizzy, but i managed to keep everything down. we watched the news, the hour, arrested development, and just for laughs. luke pointed out that we had never really watched tv together before. we were just catching up. i literally could not move without feeling like i was going to fall down - i still can't.

we eventually got a bed and they gave me an iv and did some blood tests. the doc came and talked to me, but they put gravol in my iv bag so i was pretty out of it. luke went home at 3 because no one had come for 2 hours and he had to work today. pretty much as soon as he left, the doc came and said that he thinks i have inner ear vertigo. symptoms could last 1 day to two weeks. he doesn't know what could have caused it. he prescribed me some anti-hystemines that i probably won't get. so i had to call luke to come back and get me. he got there and they still hadn't taken out my iv. so we asked them to take it out and we got home at 3:30.

meanwhile the guy that is staying here for congress couldn't get his key to work, even though i told him it was tricky and he had to wiggle it. so i was a little worried about him. he came here at 7:30 to get his stuff and luke showed him how to get his key in and out of the door.

so i just woke up at 1 and i'm still dizzy. i'm using luke's computer in bed and i'm trying not to move. i might go see my family doctor to see what she has to say.

other than that, the past 12 hours have been great.

luke, health
