Well all, I'm leaving soon for Sunny/Rainy Redmond. I'm looking forward to the term, but also dreading the fact that I'm leaving. It actually is really tough to be away from people. I wonder if I could deal with that if I were to get a full time offer. One one hand, it's a great opportunity. On the other, It means giving up a lot of history and things.
I don't have to make a call like that for about a year, but still. It is an important decision and something to at least start thinking about. This term should be very interesting from a work point of view. I'm on the Anti-virus response team. If this vulnerability gets whacked with a virus, I might actually get to see all of it! Get to be in on the sit. room . That would be hardcore.
