Swallowed a dictionary?

I've been prepping for my battery of tests that I am due to be subjected to as part of my assessment day and recently dug up my old SAT prep stuff. The software I had was actually quite fun to play with, but I was confounded and reminded of my days prepping for the SATs where my friends would literally memorise their dictionaries. Me, being the lazy procrastinator that I am, never bothered with that (plus I didn't have time anyway since I was struggling to finish my daily load of Further Maths homework during Alevels and this was merely a side self-study thing to me, whereas for my friends, it was a full-time thing.. that's all they did the entire day) and I never could understand why I'd need to memorise so many ways of saying "fat","careful with money" or "criticise/scold". What I really drew the line at was when I came across the word "hirsute", meaning "hairy". WTH... don't these ppl have better things to do than to memorise the different ways of saying "hairy"?!?!

I'm really rusty at the numerical sequentials and it takes me ages to work out one. Spent a while doing Sudoku (the newspaper one), but I'm quite slow at that too, but hey, I did finish my first Sudoku puzzle tonight. hahah.

We get some pretty awesome sunrises and sunsets here. I'm usually out with the dog around sunset and awake (haven't gone to bed yet) during sunrises. I just need to find a convenient, photographic vantage point that's near my house so I don't have to drag my lazy doggie too far, or worse still, having to end up carrying her up some hill. Maybe I'll join my ex-teacher on a photographic jaunt one of these days. Turns out we have the same camera too. :) The daily torrential downpours we've been getting lately (due to monsoon season) have brought some pretty rainbows too, but I still haven't figured how to nicely capture one. *taking time to smell the roses* Either that or freak over assessments; so I'll opt for the former, thank you very much. :P
