Where do you live and any good places to visit while in UK? XDDD *readying traveling plans*

I live in Dundee, which is on the north-east coast of Scotland. :D

Good places? I haven't travelled much in England, to be honest, so I'd be hard-pressed to recommend anywhere there. York is quite nice and I've always liked Newcastle upon Tyne, and you're already going to London. In Scotland tho', there are a lot of very nice places. :D Edinburgh and Glasgow are both great - I prefer Glasgow - and there are some very picturesque towns and villages up the east coast. If I were going to choose anywhere in the UK to visit, I think I'd go back to the Isle of Skye, which was just beautiful.

Ooooh, I'm visiting Scotland too! Edinburgh and the Highlands, to be precise. Too bad I won't be seeing you around though. D: I wanted to go to Glasgow too, but my friend was a little iffy about going cuz she thinks it's pretty far and the train tickets are crazily expensive. In a country where there are no trains and only subways, it's difficult for us to stomach train tickets that cost so much. XDDD

Glasgow probably isn't much further than Edinburgh, but at least with Edinburgh you can get a direct train. Edinburgh is nice tho' - are you going to visit the castle?

Whereabouts in the Highlands are you going? That's a pretty broad area. XD

Yeah, trains are horribly expensive here. :(

Yeah, but getting to Edinburgh from London is far enough for us, not to mention horribly expensive. ^_^;;;

Ha ha, I'm joining a guided tour for the Highlands, but I haven't really looked at the itinerary yet. My friend's booking the tour. XD
