Snow Storm!

So my logic was, if I listened to enough Christmas music, it would have to snow. So thats what Ive been doing the past two weeks. And finally a snow storm blew into Connecticut yesterday around noon. It snowed heavily Id say for a good 7 hours, with 1-3 inches per hour. In the end id say we have a foot at least, maybe that and a couple inches. The driveway and walkways had the be plowed twice, once yesterday and again this morning. I took before pictures in anticipation of after photos! They worked this one up, and I was hopeful it was a forecast that went right! Lots of snow.. none of this "huge storm on the way, up to seven inches" and then wake to find our end of the state only got a "dusting"

So here they are! pre storm and post storm.

Those are turkeys in the last photo, and those red dots are reflections of the Christmas lights inside. We have about 3 to 5 turkeys that usually hang out around the house all day. The roost in the trees near by. I can pretty much count on seeing them each early morning crossing the field to peck under the bird feeder in the backyard. Once and a while they show up with friends! this one day, we had at least 50 wild turkeys on our property, I kid you not, it was like someone left the gate open at a turkey farm and they all got out and ran to our place! I took some pictures. Here is one lol... of course not all are in the shot, they were spread out around the house and more back in the woods hidden by a stone wall. I was worried they were rebelling against us!

So my plan for a white Christmas is to listen to more Christmas music. I hope it doesn't warm up and all melt.
