hmmm that's a verdant user picture! haha

ver·dant /ˈvɜrdnt/
-adjective
1. green with vegetation; covered with growing plants or grass: a verdant oasis.
2. of the color green: a verdant lawn.
3. inexperienced; unsophisticated: verdant college freshmen.

Maybe i'd be a verdant fresh graduate...

I actually know what the word itself means. I meant that I bet you using it twice has some significance. :)

i know you know what it means. my showing you the dictionary.com definition of it wasn't meant to question your intelligence (: it's actually not a word that's in my vocabulary, i looked it up for my own benefit :D i mean, i know the rough meaning of most of these words, but a word only ever comes to you when you know its precise meaning and usage. i need to look most of these up and commit them to memory!!

and oh, this list was compiled from random scraps of paper i had lying around. haha i make lists when i read...in the hopes of eventually getting around to looking up the meanings of the words i don't understand. but then they usually end up taking up space in my wallet or in my "random junk" drawer haha
